WHAT WE DO
Bible Institute
The Samachique Bible Institute is our base of operations. During its 12 year history, it has hosted many construction and ministry teams that have built the ministry infrastructure throughout the region. In addition, regular bible and ministry courses are taught here on a regular basis.
In recent years the institute has become the hub of the Samachique community giving the town’s youth a safe place for wholesome recreation and education in ministry and music. The church in Samachique meets here also.

Water Wells
One major public health crisis and source of disease in the Sierra is unsafe drinking water. Often, the Tarahumara use water in creeks and streams that they share with livestock. Children are especially affected by this water.
Ravens partners with Mexico Medical Missions in drilling wells to provide safe drinking water in the region.

Medical
Ravens works closely with the nearby Hospital Tarahumara de Samachique which provides quality healthcare including child birth, pediatrics, surgeries, emergency care and more to the Tarahumara people. Along with drilling wells, Ravens coordinates construction products and imports medicine and medical equipment for the hospital.

Construction
Ravens has provided the majority of infrastructure for the ministries of the area which includes the Bible Institute, staff housing and the three children’s shelters we operate. Along with various construction projects we have an ongoing maintenance program at all our facilities.

Outreach
Ravens supports the local churches in the region with a number of outreaches held throughout the year. In the summer, we help host a crusade held under a tent that draws thousands of Mexicans and Tarahumara. Other concerts, rallies and children’s events are held on a regular basis

Mission trips
So much of this work is accomplished through our short term missions trip partners from churches throughout the US. Some groups do construction and maintenance, some minister directly to the people through music training and events we hold. Childrens
Centers
Ravens provides monthly support to three children's centers or "Albergues" in the villages of Napuchis, Corareachi and Basigochi. These centers feed, house and clothe approximately 300 young kids during the school week, giving them a safe place to grow, get an education and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
